Faisal S. Charania, Esq. is a Chief Executive Officer and experienced M&A leader focused on building and scaling multi-unit and franchise-based businesses across the United States and internationally. He currently serves as CEO and Chairperson of the Board of Dogwood Brands Company, where he leads investment strategy and oversees a portfolio of consumer-facing businesses generating more than $20 million in annual revenue across multiple states.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Charania held several senior legal and executive positions. He served as General Counsel of Hampton River Partners, where he structured real estate and franchise investment vehicles and advised on regulatory compliance. He also served as Corporate Secretary, Vice President, and Associate General Counsel at Prime Communications, the largest authorized wireless retailer in the world, where he supported significant domestic and international growth.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Charania was General Counsel to affiliated investment and development companies, including InLight Capital and Lighthouse Property Development. In these roles, he led acquisitions, managed risk and liability strategy, and supported the expansion of hospitality and retail real estate portfolios, including branded hotel properties and multi-tenant retail centers.

Mr. Charania earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law and holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University. He is also a participant in the Owner/President Management program at Harvard Business School.

He is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Texas, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the U.S. Tax Court. Mr. Charania is active in the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), where he serves in leadership and engagement roles, and contributes to initiatives focused on innovation in retail. He is highly proficient in Spanish and also speaks Hindi and Urdu.
