ATTORNEY – EMPLOYMENT LAW: Advice & Counseling, Dispute Resolution & Litigation (3-5yr)
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a motivated and business-savvy attorney to join our growing labor and employment practice. This role is primarily focused on advice and counseling, with meaningful opportunities to engage in dispute & litigation, business development, and firm initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise a broad range of clients on employee relations matters, HR compliance, and employment best practices
- Conduct legal research and develop strategies across substantive areas of employment and labor law
- Draft and review employment policies, agreements, handbooks, and other legal documents
- Draft motions and pleadings; attend court hearings and manage dispute & litigation matters
- Handle government audits and agency proceedings
- Represent clients in dispute resolution and administrative proceedings
- Provide regular updates and strategic guidance to clients and firm partners
- Participate in business development activities and firm initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Current membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in labor & employment law and related dispute & litigation

- Excellent legal research abilities and resource utilization skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills

ATTORNEY – EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION: Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Advice & Counseling (7+yr)
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced and tenacious employment litigation attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate is a seasoned litigator who is very comfortable at the counsel table or courtroom and someone who can manage complex matters from inception through settlement and who brings a business-minded approach to every case.
This role offers a direct path to leadership and opportunities to grow your own book of business, with dedicated mentorship and firm support for business development.

- Take and defend depositions of witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives
- Develop and execute case strategy in coordination with clients and firm partners
- Handle government agency investigations, audits, and administrative proceedings (DFEH, EEOC, DLSE, NLRB)
- Manage discovery, including written discovery, document review, and e-discovery
- Attend mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trial proceedings
- Advise clients on employment practices, risk mitigation, and litigation exposure
- Provide regular case updates and strategic counsel to clients and partners
- Participate in business development activities and contribute to firm initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Current membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- Minimum 7 years of employment litigation experience, with a strong preference for employment defense
- Demonstrated experience managing cases through trial, mediation or arbitration
- Familiarity with California and federal employment laws (FEHA, FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, NLRA, PAGA, Labor Code)
- Experience handling wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and/or PAGA matters
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Excellent research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and case management abilities
- Self-motivated; able to manage a demanding caseload, work collaboratively, and think strategically
- Warm, calm, and professional communication style with colleagues, clients, and opposing counsel
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills and an engaging personality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, law firm billing, and case management software
