Daniel Krebs is a business and real estate attorney focused on moving transactions forward and getting deals across the finish line. With more than 30 years of legal and investment banking experience, he is known for providing practical, solution-oriented advice that aligns legal strategy with business objectives.

Clients rely on Danny for a proactive, business-minded approach. He partners directly with founders and executives to anticipate issues, simplify complexity, and develop practical solutions that keep transactions on track. His experience in investment banking informs his ability to structure and negotiate deals with a clear understanding of both legal risk and market dynamics.

Danny represents early-stage and growth companies, founders, investors, and real estate owners in corporate and transactional matters, including company formation, mergers and acquisitions, venture and private financings, debt transactions, and complex commercial and licensing arrangements. He has led transactions across the technology, consumer, restaurant, and real estate sectors. He also serves as ongoing outside counsel to companies and executives, advising on day-to-day legal and business matters and helping clients address issues efficiently as they arise. In his commercial real estate practice, he advises on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing, with a focus on efficiently navigating issues that can delay or derail transactions.

Representative Experience

• Advised technology companies in strategic acquisitions, including sales to VeriSign and Yahoo
• Represented foreign technology company in a successful, fast-paced acquisition by Intuit
• Negotiated and documented key SaaS agreements for an AI-based driving risk assessment company
• Managed all technology and SaaS agreements for the Chief Revenue Officer of a mobile app messaging company
• Represented seller in the $24 million disposition of a retail shopping center in the San Francisco Bay Area
• Advised founder during startup phase for private fundraising, leasing and operations for successful local restaurant and future ventures
• Represented buyers and sellers in numerous closely held business transactions ranging from $1 million to $5 million across consumer, service, and product-based businesses

Danny received his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he served on the law review. He earned his B.A., with honors, from the University of California, Berkeley.
